We would bring in models by asking community members to volunteer a couple of hours of their time to be featured in these pictures. The goal was to showcase that all were welcome at Players Theater and that there wasn’t a dress code or an age limit. From a girl’s night out, to date night for couples of all ages, to taking your kids to experience a live theater performance: theater is for everyone.

Springtime portraits for beautiful women (that’s you)
Self-Love Portrait sessions with JK Photos are a personalized portrait session to help women feel empowered, beautiful, and loved. They’re designed with you as a whole human in mind. We pick a location that resonates with your soul. I help you find wardrobe options that embrace your unique style and personality. You get your makeup done by an artist who can bring your vision to life, whether that’s a natural and glowing look or something more glam. We meet for our session and I even bring along a personalized self-care bag full of some of your favorite things and items to help you dive deeper into your self-care practices.
Pictures good enough to eat
We decided on a day to bring in the entire staff and made it a training day. The kitchen manager worked with his staff to create every meal on the menu exactly as it should be made, giving them a chance to learn without the rush of a full restaurant how. And the general manager came in with his servers so they could see exactly what each meal should look like when they take them out to the table, doubling up on quality control for service. We planned a separate day for bartenders to come in and test out new cocktail recipes and learn the restaurant’s signature drinks.
And I got pictures of it all.

I recognized as I sent my branding guide out to different small business owners and companies that the needs of each organization simply can’t be shoved into 1 base package. Instead, I’ve begun getting to know the wants and needs of each inquiry and then sending them a custom package, with all the details of their personalized options, 2-3 investment levels, and the reminder that the listed info is further customizable wherever they see the need.

Together, we created a vision for her branding photography session and narrowed down the stories she wanted to showcase. We talked models, location, style, and vibe, and by the end of our planning call we had all the main logistics worked out. Since she wanted to do some of her pictures in a studio with a very specific vibe and the rest at her house with her daughters and in her home office, we decided to split the session into 2 days. We’d spend 1 piece in studio and a few weeks later we’d spend time in her home.
