Women’s Self-Love Retreats
Kickstarting Your Journey Toward Self-Love
Let’s be real….
It feels like you have too much going on to take care of yourself.
Life is a perpetual balancing act of earning, cleaning, taking care of your family, cooking, organizing, running errands, and we all know what falls to the wayside….
YOU.
Yes, You.
You don’t take care of yourself, you’ve forgotten what makes you happy, and you barely even remember to eat some days.
Girl, this needs to stop.
When my daughter was entering grade school I realized this was me.
Constantly going, never spending time with her, always working, tired, and miserable.
I decided to make a change and I started what would turn into a years-long journey trying to figure out the right path for my own self-love practices.
I’ve been where you are, and I want to make your journey easier than mine was.
Because, the truth is…
You deserve all the things.
You deserve happiness.
You deserve community.
You deserve to honor your desires.
You deserve to be a full, satisfied human being.
Are you ready for an invaluable transformation?
When you approach Empower You Retreats with an open heart and mind, you will walk away with some or all of these transformations:
Feeling of empowerment to take on your wildest dreams
A framework for your self-care practice that fits into your lifestyle and allows you to grow in your light
New knowledge on how to take care of your own needs and desires and fill your own cup
Tools to find alignment and balance for your body and mind
A new sense of community with other women who are here to support you
An understanding of how to set healthy boundaries so you no longer feel taken advantage of - in your personal life or career
The start of acceptance for your own body and the unique beauty you possess
Knowledge and understanding that you are worthy enough to take up space
The ability to honor your own needs and put your well-being first.
Freedom from the limiting belief that you are “just” a caregiver, a mother, a daughter, a wife, a girlfriend…

Dr. Shannon Marie is a nations top ally certified forest therapy guide who is passionate about introducing people to the more than human world and a deeper understanding of themselves through her nature therapy practice Abundant Wanderings.
Rooted in nature and forest therapy, Dr. Shannon is trained in the Japanese practice of Shinrinyoku, which loosely translates over to forest bathing. Her certification from the National Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Association is more heart centered and creates a beautiful blend of mindfulness and bodifulness space in one, in which the physical and mental healing benefits of nature can be explored.
Wanders are short in duration and intensity but can be deep in meaning and impact, and there are not right or wrong way to experience them as they are simply a series of invitations that are given in which participants are free to engage with in their own space and way. Yoga & Mindfulness CoachChastity had begun working in the physically demanding field of massage therapy and quickly realized she needed more physical strength in her body and a way to release the ``tightness” she carried from working full time to sustain her rapidly growing clientele. She sought a trainer at the local gym who began to help her do just that when they both agreed she didn't need more weight training, she needed stretching and yoga to balance her. She began practicing yoga in her early 20’s and immediately began to feel the benefits of her dedicated practice, most notably, the deep rest and ability to fall asleep with ease. She has since then completed two 200hr. Yoga Teacher Training, both local and internationally. Chastity has been teaching yoga for the past decade and remains a dedicated student, continuously adding insight to her approach to the ever present moment of mindfulness and meditation, sequencing and meeting students where they are and making yoga fun, accessible and relevant. What she loves most about yoga is its ability to cleanse, balance and heighten the state of self awareness-which ripples out to all other areas of life. She owns her business, merging together her two passions, massage therapy and yoga, and offers both private and group classes online and in person.
She lives in Washington State with her beloved husband, Dylan and their son Noah.

FAQs
-
Each of the presenters are compensated for their services, caterers and vendors are paid for their products and services, and the venue is paid for. We do have sponsors to cover some of the cost, but creating this beautiful event takes a lot of time and effort on my end, so ticket costs are used to cover the remaining bills for the retreat as well as compensating me for my time coordinating, advertising, and supporting this event.
-
Yes! When you purchase your ticket you’ll get the opportunity to list your restrictions. When I order catering I will be sure to identify each attendees’ restrictions and order accordingly.
-
I’ve arranged with all presenters to bring new material to their workshops, and we’re working together to make sure each retreat is different. While each will have similarities since they’re all based on women’s wellness and self-care, our goal is to make sure you’ll benefit from the retreat whether it’s your first time or you’ve done it before.
-
Feel free to fill out the application below and include your questions. The application does not take you to a ticket purchasing site, it sends a message directly to me so I can answer your questions. If you’d rather email me, send your concerns to jamie@jkphotoswa.com
