Branding Session with Dr. Jaime Hough
The Mission:
Jaime wanted to get branding images that showed her quirkiness but also her professionalism and her self-care approach to the Phd dissertation process. It was important to her to be relatable and human rather than the stiff appearance typically seen in academia.
The Outcome:
I met with the client and we discussed the different ways she wanted to portray herself and her coaching methods. I asked her what a typical day in her life as a coach looked like, how she prepared for the day and what her setup looked like for recording workshops, etc. I helped plan the stories she told and worked with her in her home to pick the right wardrobe for each story. We had a ton of fun planning and got to know each other well enough for the photography session to be easy and laid back.
My goal was to humanize her business and give her images that put people at ease and showcased her self-care practices that helped her through her own Phd dissertation process.
The Impact:
She saw a noticeable growth in followers and inquiries after updating her images on her website and social media platforms. She also felt more confident in her role and more professional putting herself out there.
“It’s crazy how much this branding session leveled up my business. I thought my Instagram presence was professional before but since this session the consistency in the colors/feel, and, well, brand, of my business comes through so clearly. To the extent that I get a few new Instagram followers every week even when I don’t post content. This is such a good investment!!!”
