Blue Aura Branding: Healing with Angie Dover

Back in March when I hosted my first Goddess Retreat, I happened to attend a metaphysical entrepreneur networking group that was just starting out. There, I met a woman named Angie who heard about my retreat and wanted to be a part of it. She offered up her home and offered to be the Reiki Healer offering the taste of Reiki breakout session during the retreat.

When I say her home was the perfect space for this…

She lives on over an acre of land and her house is perfectly set up for multiple breakout workshops to happen at once, without any 2 interfering with each other.

Angie and I became fast friends while planning the retreat and we embraced helping each other out and lifting each other up. So when she asked me to take her branding pictures, I was thrilled to be able to work with her again.

She’s a multi-faceted woman who does a LOT. She offers Reiki healing, massage therapy, sound bath healing, and oracle card readings. Together with a partner, she was combining her powers to create a beautiful destination Goddess Retreat. She’s working on planning these retreats now, so make sure you go give her a follow if that’s something you’re interested in.

She’s also a maker, creating beautiful designs to put on bags, towels, bottles, and more. But for her pictures, we focused on the services rather than the products she offers.

We came up with a plan and listed out everything she wanted to capture, and we put together an inspiration Pinterest board with some of her ideas and some of mine. Together, we created the perfect plan for what she needed, and we had a blast hanging out for an afternoon and shooting all the different aspects of her work.

My sessions are always fun, but there’s something about shooting outdoors that I feel really brings out people’s personalities. While we were getting the outdoor images, we had a little extra model appear in the yard. Her neighbor’s dog had gotten loose and decided to join us in our fun. So naturally, I had to snap a picture of him enjoying his very own oracle reading. 😂
